Florida Triathlon Camp - IronGoat Endurance

Thank you for your interest in our exclusive 2-day triathlon training camp. Athletes from across the country will be joining us for a 2-day, intensive camp that will cover various subjects. Break out into one-on-one and group training sessions with three renowned USA Triathlon certified coaches. Camp includes: -Underwater video analysis, skills, drills, and follow-up -Open water swim training, skills, & race tips -Bike & run training on the Florida Half & International Triathlon race course -Triathlon: The Mental Game (Presentation) -and more!

Saturday 8:00am-9:00am (Sailfish Splash Aquatic Center)

Athlete Check-In / Dry Land Warm-Up

As athlete arrive, our coaches will be taking you through a routine dry land warm-up. Once all athletes are present, coaches will explain the swim set.

Saturday 9:00am-11:00am (Sailfish Splash Aquatic Center)

Swim Training and Underwater Video

Once the athletes start the swim set, our coaches will break you out individually to capture a multi-angled underwater video of your swim stroke. During the swim set, coaches will be offering key tips to become more efficient, generate greater speed, and improve technique. 

Saturday 11:15am-12:00pm (Sailfish Splash Aquatic Center)

Triathlon: The Mental Game

Athletes will harness the power of their minds with this interactive mental session geared around the emotions of the multisport athlete. You will take part in mental exercises designed to help you develop your emotional connection to triathlon training and racing. 

Saturday 12:00pm-1:30pm (Local Restaurants Available)

Break for Lunch

Athletes will have access to picnic tables at Sailfish Splash Aquatic Center if they choose to bring their own lunch. Also, we will provide a list of local restaurants available. 

Saturday 2:00pm-4:00pm (10th Street Track)

Run Speed, Endurance, and Technique Training

Athletes will participate in a full run training session, including proper warm-up, technique/form drills, dynamic stretching, speed/endurance intervals and more. During the session, coaches will be offering key tips to improve running form, reduce the risk of injury, and generate greater speed. 

 

Saturday 4:00pm-4:30pm (10th Street Track)

Stretching / Mobility / Recovery

Lay out your towels and get a good stretch to help recover and prepare for tomorrow's workouts!

Sunday 7:45am-8:00am (Jensen Beach)

Athlete Check-In / Dry Land Warm-Up

As athletes arrive, our coaches will be taking you through a routine dry land warm-up. Once all athletes are present, coaches will explain the open water swim workout.

Sunday 8:00am-9:00am (Jensen Beach)

Open Water Swim Training

Coaches will cover race specific open water skills that you will practice as a group. After the skills session, athletes will break out into an open water swim set (based on their upcoming events). 

Sunday 9:30am-12:30pm (Jensen Beach)

Bike Training

Ahthletes will break off into groups based on ride duration / average speed. Each group will have a specific set built into this 3-hour session. This ride will hug the Atlantic Ocean with great views.  

Sunday 12:30pm-2:00pm (Local Restaurants Available)

Break for Lunch

Athletes will have access to pavilions and picnic tables at Jensen Beach if they choose to bring their own lunch. Also, we will provide a list of local restaurants available for lunch. 

Sunday 2:00pm-3:00pm (Jensen Beach)

Group Recovery Run

For this workout you will run on a portion of the FHIT course. This is great way to stretch out the legs and work on some of the technical aspect you experienced yesterday.

 

Sunday 3:30pm-4:30pm (Jensen Beach)

Strength, Mobility, & Stability

Athletes will participate in exercises and protocols to improve areas of imbalance or weakness to help improve performance and prevent injury. Stretch out those sore muscles to help accelerate recovery. Group photo and good-byes.
