Florida Triathlon Camp - IronGoat Endurance

Thank you for your interest in our exclusive 3-day triathlon training camp. Athletes from across the country will be joining us for an intensive camp that will cover various subjects. Learn from highly acclaimed guest speakers including 4x Triathlon World Champion, Linda Robb, author of Triathlete EQ, Dr. Izzy Justice, and A.R.T. specialist, Dr. Dan Rukeyser. Break out into one-on-one and group training sessions with three renowned USA Triathlon certified coaches. Analyze your underwater swim video with swim specialist, Coach Tommy Allore. Identify your Lactate Threshold by signing-up for an LT Bike Test* with Coach Cale Simmons. Furthermore, improve your run biomechanics and gain vital nutritional guidance from Coach Michelle Tovar B.S., CSCS.

Lactate Threshold Testing (Available)

Athletes have the option of getting their Lactate Threshold Test done for an additional fee. We will be testing 1 athlete per hour between 10am and 5pm. (8-slots available) For more information on LT Testing, please contact us.

Introductions / Meet & Greet 

Guest Speaker (Linda Robb)

Athletes will check-in and enjoy coffee, tea, and light snacks. Then, enjoy learning from 4x Triathlon World Champion, Linda Neary Robb!

Friday 7:30pm (Local Restaurants Available)

Break for Dinner

Athletes will have time to check out historic Downtown Stuart, get dinner at one of many suitable restaurants, or grab a souvenir at the local shops.

Saturday 8:30am-9:00am (Sailfish Splash Aquatic Center)

Athlete Check-In / Dry Land Warm-Up

As athlete arrive, our coaches will be taking you through a routine dry land warm-up. Once all athletes are present, coaches will explain the swim set.

Saturday 9:00am-10:30am (Sailfish Splash Aquatic Center)

Swim Training and Underwater Video

Once the athletes start the swim set, our coaches will break you out individually to capture a multi-angled underwater video of your swim stroke. During the swim set, coaches will be offering key tips to become more efficient, generate greater speed, and improve technique. 

Saturday 10:30am-12:00pm (Sailfish Splash Aquatic Center)

Triathlete EQ with Neuropsychologist, Dr. Izzy Justice

Athletes will harness the power of their minds with this interactive mental session geared around the emotions of the multisport athlete. You will take part in mental exercises designed to help you develop your emotional intelligence (EQ) for triathlon training and racing. 

Saturday 12:30pm-2:00pm (Local Restaurants Available)

Break for Lunch

Athletes will have access to picnic tables at Sailfish Splash Aquatic Center if they choose to bring their own lunch. Also, we will provide a list of local restaurants available. 

Saturday 2:00pm-4:00pm (10th Street Track)

Run Speed, Endurance, and Technique Training

Athletes will participate in a full run training session, including proper warm-up, technique/form drills, dynamic stretching, speed/endurance intervals and more. During the session, coaches will be offering key tips to improve running form, reduce the risk of injury, and generate greater speed. 

 

Saturday 4:00pm-4:30pm (10th Street Track)

Stretching / Mobility / Recovery

Lay out your towels and get a good stretch to help recover and prepare for tomorrow's workouts!

Sunday 8:30am-9:00am (Jensen Beach)

Athlete Check-In / Dry Land Warm-Up

As athletes arrive, our coaches will be taking you through a routine dry land warm-up. Once all athletes are present, coaches will explain the open water swim workout.

Sunday 9:00am-10:00am (Jensen Beach)

Open Water Swim Training

Coaches will cover race specific open water skills that you will practice as a group. After the skills session, athletes will break out into an open water swim set (based on their upcoming events). 

Sunday 10:30am-12:30pm (Jensen Beach)

Bike Training

Ahthletes will break off into groups based on ride duration / average speed. Each group will have a specific set built into this 2-hour session. This ride will hug the Atlantic Ocean with great views.  

Sunday 12:30pm-2:00pm (Local Restaurants Available)

Break for Lunch

Athletes will have access to pavilions and picnic tables at Jensen Beach if they choose to bring their own lunch. Also, we will provide a list of local restaurants available for lunch. 

Sunday 2:00pm-3:30pm (Jensen Beach)

Strength, Mobility, & Stability with Dr. Dan Rukeyser

Athletes will participate in a Functional Movement Screening with specialist Dr. Dan Rukyser. Following the FMS, Dr. Dan will present on exercises and protocols to improve areas of imbalance or weakness to help improve performance and prevent injury.

Sunday 3:30pm-4:15pm (Jensen Beach)

Group Recovery Run

The last workout of the day will include a "fun run" along side the ocean to put a stamp on a great camp. Share your story with new friends while taking in all that you have accomplished this weekend.

Stretching / Mobility / Recovery

Stretch out those sore muscles to help accelerate recovery. Group photo and good-byes.
